How can shoppers order from my online shop through ChatGPT or Claude?

In every CG Shops by CraftGenie online shop, shoppers can order from their own ChatGPT or Claude. They search for products and choose delivery to an office or a locker. They pay with cash on delivery (Наложен платеж). It is included in the shop's price, €144 a year excluding VAT. You set up nothing.

Why it helps you

The shopper orders where they already write. They do not look for your website or fill in forms. They say in words what they want, and the assistant finds it in your shop.

An example: Iva sells herbal teas from Plovdiv. One evening a shopper writes to her own ChatGPT: "I am looking for a sleep tea under 15 euro." The assistant finds the tea in Iva's shop. The shopper chooses delivery and says "yes". In the morning Iva sees the order in her admin, like any other.

How it works

Your shop has its own address for AI assistants. The shopper adds it to their own ChatGPT or Claude. Then the assistant can browse your products and order for them, once they say "yes".

How a shopper orders

  1. They connect the assistant. In their account in your shop they open "AI assistants" and copy the address. They add it to their own ChatGPT or Claude and approve the access.
  2. They search in words. For example: "I am looking for a sleep tea under 15 euro."
  3. They fill the cart. The assistant adds the products. The cart is the same on the website.
  4. They choose delivery and payment. For example: "Order it with delivery to an Econt office and cash on delivery." The assistant finds the office or locker.
  5. They say "yes". The order is placed only after the shopper confirms. Or the assistant gives a link to your shop's checkout, with the cart filled in.

Later the shopper can ask "Where is my last order?" and gets the answer.

What you get

  • The order arrives in the admin like any other. You handle it as always.
  • You pay no fee for orders from AI. You need no extra module either.
  • The prices, delivery and payments are yours, from the shop.

AI search reads the shop too

Assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini may read your shop. That way they can find and recommend your products. Product pages carry price and stock data that machines understand.

Good to know

  • In ChatGPT, connecting an outside assistant depends on the shopper's plan. So not every shopper will use it. Your website works for everyone, as before.
  • Search and the cart work without signing in. To order in the chat, the shopper signs in with their account in your shop. Then they also see their orders. Without an account, the assistant gives a link to the shop's checkout.
  • You run the shop with your own AI assistant. It is separate from the shoppers' assistant.

The shop's address for AI assistants is an MCP server. MCP is an open standard that AI apps use to connect to other services.

Do I need to turn anything on?

No. The shoppers' assistant is ready in every shop. The shopper finds the address on their account page.

Can the assistant order without the shopper?

No. The order is placed only after the shopper's "yes".

Does it work with cash on delivery?
